Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager, the Associate Director of Commercial Product Management will serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for driving growth, optimization, and strategic direction of assigned product and service portfolios within BioIVT's business units. Working closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Scientific, and Executive stakeholders, the incumbent will identify market opportunities, develop portfolio strategies, guide commercial execution, and ensure product offerings remain aligned with customer needs and evolving market dynamics.

The Associate Director will act as a key commercial leader within the business, translating market intelligence, customer insights, and business performance data into actionable growth strategies. This role is ideal for an experienced product management professional who thrives in a highly collaborative environment, influences without formal authority, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Location Requirement: While we consider applicants from most states, we are unable to hire in AK, HI, NM, ND, SD, RI, or VT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Develop deep expertise in BioIVT product and service portfolios, customer segments, competitive landscape, market trends, and emerging scientific and commercial opportunities.Partner with the VPGM and business leadership to define and execute portfolio growth strategies that drive revenue, market share, and profitability.Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic growth opportunities, including new applications, market segments, geographic expansion opportunities, and portfolio enhancements.Lead cross-functional commercial initiatives from concept through execution, aligning Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Scientific stakeholders around common objectives and success metrics.Serve as the voice of the customer by collecting and synthesizing feedback from customers, sales teams, key opinion leaders, and industry trends to inform portfolio strategy.Develop business cases and commercial assessments to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, portfolio expansion, and service optimization initiatives.Monitor portfolio performance through key commercial and operational metrics, identifying opportunities to improve growth, adoption, customer satisfaction, and profitability.Partner closely with Sales leadership and field teams on strategic accounts, solution-selling opportunities, and commercial execution plans.Recommend pricing, discounting, and value-positioning strategies that balance growth objectives with margin optimization.Support launch planning and commercialization of new products, services, and portfolio enhancements, ensuring successful market adoption.Develop customer-facing messaging, value propositions, sales tools, and training materials that improve commercial effectiveness.Conduct market research and competitive intelligence activities to assess industry trends, competitor actions, and evolving customer needs.Champion product and portfolio strategies internally to drive alignment, accountability, and execution across functions.Represent BioIVT at customer meetings, industry conferences, and other external events to strengthen market presence and gather strategic insights.

Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) preferred.8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, commercial strategy, business development, or related commercial leadership roles within life sciences.Demonstrated success driving product or portfolio growth through strategic pricing, positioning, market analysis, and cross-functional execution.Strong understanding of drug discovery and development workflows, with particular familiarity in ADME-Tox markets preferred.Experience developing business cases, evaluating market opportunities, and translating customer insights into commercial strategies.Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct reporting authority.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial, financial, and market data to support decision-making.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage senior leadership, customers, and commercial teams.Experience supporting product launches, portfolio optimization efforts, and strategic growth initiatives.Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with tactical execution in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Travel

This position may require up to 35% travel over the course of the year, including customer visits, commercial meetings, and industry conferences
