BRX is seeking a dedicated and passionate Resource Teacher to join one of our school district partners in Phoenix.
This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys working with students in a specialized learning environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on student success. The ideal candidate will be committed to individualized instruction, collaboration, and helping students build the academic and functional skills they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
- Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans and instructional strategies
- Support students in accessing the general education curriculum
- Implement IEP accommodations, modifications, and specialized instructional strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student goals
- Provide academic, behavioral, and classroom support as needed
- Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Advocate for student needs and support each student’s academic and personal growth
- Valid Arizona teaching certification
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Resource or special education classroom experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction and meet diverse student needs
- Compassionate, dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
