Job Description
Position Type and Schedule
This is a part-time position designed for a motivated college student or recent graduate seeking or have practical experience in digital marketing, social media, website management, and online course development.
The selected candidate will work approximately 15–20 hours per week. The schedule may be flexible around the candidate’s college course schedule; however, the candidate must be dependable, meet established deadlines, attend scheduled meetings, and communicate consistently with company leadership.
Compensation
The anticipated pay range is $15–$20 per hour, depending on the candidate’s experience, technical skills, portfolio, and ability to manage projects independently.
Candidates with demonstrated experience in website development, online learning platforms, instructional design, video editing, or advanced digital marketing may be considered for compensation up to $22 per hour.
The position will begin with a 90-day introductory period. Continued employment and potential increases in hours or compensation will be based on performance, dependability, quality of work, and company needs.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a currently enrolled college student or recent graduate studying one or more of the following areas:
Marketing
Digital Media
Communications
Public Relations
Graphic Design
Web Design or Web Development
Instructional Design
Educational Technology
Information Technology
Business Administration
A related field
The ideal candidate will:
Be creative, dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
Have strong written communication and proofreading skills.
Understand how to create engaging content for Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
Have experience using Canva or similar graphic-design software.
Have basic website editing or development experience.
Be comfortable researching and learning new technology platforms.
Have an interest in education, teacher development, leadership training, or workforce development.
Be able to take existing training materials and organize them into professional online courses.
Be available for occasional in-person meetings, photography, video recording, training events, or company activities.
Provide samples of social media content, graphics, websites, videos, or other relevant work.
Initial Priorities
During the first 90 days, the Digital Media & E-Learning Coordinator will focus on:
Developing and maintaining a consistent Legacy Solutions social media calendar.
Creating and posting professional social media content each week.
Reviewing the existing Legacy Solutions website and identifying needed improvements.
Updating website content, services, employment opportunities, images, and contact information.
Researching and comparing online learning platforms for the Legacy Solutions Teacher Academy and Leadership Academy.
Recommending a learning platform based on price, features, ease of use, certificates, payment processing, and future growth.
Organizing existing training presentations, manuals, videos, and assessments for conversion into online courses.
Beginning the development of the first Teacher Academy or Leadership Academy online course.
