OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Marketing Strategist, you will work on a variety of tasks in a fast paced environment to drive promotion and growth on our products, services and solutions through Fastenal's Sports Marketing Partnership Programs. This includes researching, conceptualizing and organizing creative sports marketing campaigns meant to hit business goals and objectives for internal and external customers. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Collaborating with sales leadership to understand business goals and develop marketing plans that support those objectives
o Researching and developing an in depth marketing strategy to achieve business objectives through sports marketing efforts
o Utilizing critical thinking skills to prioritize and direct marketing projects
o Presenting and maintaining our brand messaging to internal and external audiences
o Managing and scheduling internal and external communications across multiple channels
o Collaborating with team members for data analysis and research
o Having ownership over sports marketing partnerships and related programs
o Creating and leading sports marketing brand awareness and hospitality efforts
o Traveling to sports marketing events for partnership activations and customer hospitality events

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communications or a related education
o Posses at least 2 years of work experience driving sales growth and marketing strategy within an organization
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
o Demonstrate a creative mindset with the ability to work on multiple projects with short lead times
o Knowledge of print and electronic media concepts
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Exhibit a desire to learn and implement new programs
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Willingness to travel up to one weekend per month, three days at a time
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

FULL-TIME BENEFITS:
Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution.

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $52,800 - 65,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
