Delivery Director

This leadership role sits at the center of large-scale digital delivery, ensuring complex enterprise projects are executed with excellence, predictability, and strong alignment to client business goals. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams responsible for implementing and optimizing digital commerce and experience platforms, with a strong focus on quality, budget adherence, and customer success. Acting as both a strategic leader and operational driver, you will guide delivery execution across multiple engagements while maintaining consistency in processes and best practices. The role requires close collaboration with clients, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on scope, resourcing, and outcomes. You will also play a key role in shaping team structure, mentoring leaders, and strengthening delivery capabilities across the organization. This is a high-impact position where your leadership directly influences client satisfaction, project success, and long-term business growth.

Accountabilities:

You will lead end-to-end delivery operations across multiple enterprise engagements, ensuring high-quality execution and strong business outcomes.

  • Oversee all delivery activities including project performance, quality assurance, budget adherence, and milestone achievement.
  • Ensure consistent application of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies across all projects.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex delivery issues involving clients and internal teams.
  • Lead workforce planning, staffing, and resourcing strategies in alignment with project demand and growth forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales, estimation, and operations teams to support proposals, SOWs, and change orders.
  • Drive organizational alignment on best practices, architectural standards, and delivery governance.
  • Provide strategic oversight for client engagements, ensuring solutions meet both technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution across delivery, engineering, and client services teams.
Requirements:

You bring deep experience in enterprise delivery leadership within consulting, digital services, or eCommerce environments, combined with strong technical and people management skills.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT services delivery, including at least 8+ years leading enterprise-level engagements.
  • Proven experience in consulting, agency, or professional services environments.
  • Strong background in digital commerce or large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Hands-on familiarity with platforms such as Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Shopify Plus.
  • Experience with content and experience platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery frameworks, and enterprise project governance.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical architecture, including web technologies such as HTML, CSS, REST, SOAP, and Git.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing consulting abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage complex, multi-stream engagements.
