Host/Hostess – LoLa 41
White Elephant Hotel, Aspen, Colorado
LoLa 41 is a vibrant and globally inspired restaurant brand celebrating the diverse cuisines of the 41st parallel. With acclaimed locations in Nantucket and Boston, Massachusetts; Palm Beach and Naples, Florida; and upcoming openings in Aspen (Opening at the end of May!).
"LoLa" stands for Longitude-Latitude — and our globally influenced cuisine, refined atmosphere, and energetic hospitality create an unforgettable dining experience rooted in world flavors.
About the Role:
The Host is the guest’s first and last point of contact — setting the tone for the entire dining experience. You will guide the flow of the dining room, warmly welcome guests, manage waitlists and reservations, and communicate seamlessly with the service and management teams. Calm, clarity, and organization are key to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front-of-house.
What You’ll Do:
Create a warm and professional first impression for every guest
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments with accuracy
Coordinate the overall pace and flow of the dining room and bar
Answer phones, take messages, and assist with takeout orders
Provide guests with clear and friendly communication at all times
Support service team members and handle guest requests efficiently
Maintain organization and cleanliness at the host stand
Uphold LoLa 41’s service standards and policies
Requirements:
Strong communication and guest service skills
Calm, organized, and professional under pressure
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays — required
Ability to stand and move for 6–10 hour shifts
Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
Proficiency with reservation systems (Resy) a plus
Reliable commute or plan to relocate to Aspen, CO
Compensation & Benefits:
