- Lead operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) security assessments, gap analyses, and long-term security roadmap initiatives.
- Design, implement, and maintain defensive security controls across cloud, corporate, and production environments.
- Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of cybersecurity tools and infrastructure solutions.
- Build and enhance systems that improve automation, monitoring, threat detection, and visibility across security and infrastructure operations.
- Collaborate closely with factory production and engineering teams to ensure environments are designed and maintained with security-first principles.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling exercises focused on OT/ICS environments and industrial systems.
- Contribute to incident response activities, investigations, and remediation efforts when security events occur.
- Promote a strong security culture by driving initiatives, sharing best practices, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support segmentation strategies, zero trust initiatives, and secure network architecture improvements for operational environments.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with networking fundamentals including routing, switching, segmentation, and network architecture principles.
- Hands-on expertise securing OT, ICS, or industrial production environments.
- Experience conducting security design reviews, risk assessments, and threat modeling activities for operational technology systems.
- Familiarity with frameworks and methodologies such as MITRE ATT&CK for ICS or other industrial cybersecurity standards.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Go, Rust, or similar technologies.
- Experience developing and implementing defensive security controls within enterprise or industrial infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of zero trust architecture and network segmentation strategies for critical systems.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex technical initiatives, and operate effectively in high-growth environments.
- Experience supporting or participating in security incident response and remediation activities.
- Familiarity with OT protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, or similar industrial communication standards is highly valued.
- Experience with ICS/SCADA platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, or related technologies is considered a strong advantage.
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and experience operating within large-scale technical infrastructures preferred.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
