Job Description
TSI supports the NETSAFA International Training Center (NITC), where international military students receive instruction designed to prepare them for follow-on training in the U.S. military pipeline. The Technical and Specialized Training (TST) Division delivers courses to senior-level military officers and civilian government officials from partner nations worldwide.
This position primarily supports the Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (MPT&E) course, a five-week program that provides senior international military and civilian professionals with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to develop, implement, execute, and manage MPT&E solutions within their organizations. The course includes structured CONUS travel to U.S. military MPT&E organizations, including Navy Personnel Command (NPC), the Navy Manpower Analysis Center (NAVMAC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC), and Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency (AFMAA). The instructor in this role will also support additional TST courses as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom instruction to senior-level international military and civilian students at NAS Pensacola using established NITC curriculum
- Escort and supervise international students during structured CONUS site visits to U.S. military MPT&E organizations as part of the course curriculum
- Review course materials following each delivery and submit recommended curriculum updates to the TST Lead
- Engage in ongoing curriculum review and development to ensure course content remains current and aligned with follow-on schoolhouse requirements
- Provide administrative support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical, education, management, or closely related field
- 6 years of experience in military training positions requiring the application of technical knowledge, with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education Management
- Leadership Skills and Strategic Planning
- Human Resources Management and Leadership Ethics
- Foreign Relations, International Policy, and Law
- Anti-Terrorism and Piracy
- Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Underwater Disposal
- Shipboard or Aircraft Systems (Antisubmarine, Combat, Avionics, Flight, or Engineering)
- Mechanics; Electricity and Electronics
- Mathematics; Physical Science
- Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian professionals from diverse international backgrounds
- Regular CONUS travel required in support of the MPT&E course site visit program
- International/OCONUS travel may also be required on occasion to support Mobile Training Team events
- Must successfully pass a background check screening prior to beginning work
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $93,600 – $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
