Construction Technician I in Abilene, Texas at Hendrick Medical Center

The Construction Technician I performs wide range of skilled construction tasks including, but not limited to: assisting with heavy construction activities, demolition of existing construction, movement of tools and materials to and from job sites, and cleaning activities.

Minimum Education

• High school or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

• 3 years

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Driver's License, clear driving record

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Hand and power tools
• May be exposed to extremes of heat and cold in all weather conditions
• Works in precarious or high locations (ladders, scaffolding, etc.)
• Handles emergency or crisis situations
• May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases
• Occasionally exposed to radiation hazards
• Exposed to hazards from electrical/mechanical/power equipment
• May be exposed to toxic chemicals
• Use of personal protective equipment
