SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

Effectively work with the filing team to perform/coordinate a variety of functions to support the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of filing operations and production operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recognize unsafe conditions
• Responsible for inspecting, sharpening, and assist in replacing saws and knives.

• Safely filing and maintaining band saws, circle saws, chipper knives and saw guides.
• Performing machine alignment, maintain saw filing equipment, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot knife, circle saws, band saws, and guide problems.
• Must be able to operate and understand precision measuring and grinding equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures.
