PRN Physical Therapist (+ Shift Differentials) in Southfield, Michigan at Straith Hospital

Pay: From $48.00 per hour - Must have Saturday availability

Position Summary:

Responsible for evaluating, planning and providing Physical Therapy treatment to restore optimal physical function and/or relieve pain in our inpatient department.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provides Physical Therapy evaluations including appropriateness of PT intervention, establishing the problem list, treatment plan of care, frequency and duration of treatment, and goals of PT treatment.
• Administers Physical Therapy treatment consistent with the plan of care.
• Re-evaluates, revises, or terminates treatment plan and goals as necessary.
• Documents treatment provided appropriately in medical record in accordance with department policies.
• Coordinates with other disciplines for effective treatment including Case Management and discharge planning.

Required:

• Current Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of Michigan
• BLS card
• Prior experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health is highly desirable.
