Contract Specialist I in Arlington, Virginia at Alluvionic

Alluvionic is seeking a Contract Specialist I who will assist the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) with various government contracts. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service.

*Must be a U.S. Citizen.
*Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct contract reviews, assist in cradle-to-grave operations, call order modifications, and close-outs
• Will be required to input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)
• Assist Government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions
• Review solicitation packages for completeness
• Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents to be contained in a solicitation package

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 hours of business credit
• Recent Federal Contracting Officer/Specialist Experience is required
• At least four (4) years of related working experience demonstrates that the candidate meets the duties mentioned above and responsibilities
• Must possess advanced knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 8, 12, and 15)
• FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II preferred
