Job Description
Caregivers provide essential in‑home support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. This role is ideal for compassionate, reliable individuals who enjoy helping others and making a meaningful difference every day.
Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care & Daily Living SupportAssist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall‑prevention practices
Help with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
Provide medication reminders (non‑clinical)
Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying
Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation as required
Maintain a clean, safe environment for the client
Companionship & Emotional Support
Engage clients in conversation, activities, and social interaction
Offer reassurance, patience, and a positive presence
Observe and report changes in client condition
Record visit notes accurately and on time in the agency system
Communicate promptly with office staff about concerns or schedule changes
Follow care plans and agency policies
Experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields preferred (but not required for entry‑level roles)
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely
Strong communication and reliability
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required by your agency)
Ability to pass background checks and required screenings
Compassion and patience
Dependability and professionalism
Good judgment and problem‑solving
Respect for client dignity and privacy
Willingness to learn and follow care plans
