Paralegal in Buffalo, New York at Buffalo Biodiesel Inc

Buffalo Biodiesel is seeking a Paralegal to join our legal department located in Buffalo, NY. We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. The candidate must possess a professional demeanor, strong time management and organizational skills, and the ability to independently complete tasks and follow-up as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Draft correspondence and documents.
• Prepare pleadings and motions.
• Conduct research using online tools.
• E-file using NYSCEF.
• Manage 3-4 attorney calendars.
• Maintain physical and electronic files.
• Handle incoming and outgoing legal mail.
• Prepare legal documents for review and signing by corporate counsel.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of paralegal experience.
• Strong time management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, etc.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with follow up as needed.
• Bachelor's (Required)
• Notary Public certification (Required)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am to 5pm)
