The Opportunity:
As an Endless Rod Unit (ERU) Assistant Level 1 at Lifting Solutions, you will provide essential field and shop support to the ERU operations team. You will assist with equipment mobilization, setup, and on-site support for artificial lift installations while gaining exposure to ERU equipment and field processes. This is an entry-level role with opportunities for hands-on learning and career advancement within the ERU team.
Responsibilities:
In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:
- Assist with the mobilization, setup, and operation of ERU equipment at field sites under supervision.
- Support ERU Operators with equipment handling, rig-in/rig-out activities, and on-site safety tasks.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance, cleaning, and inspections both on-site and in the shop.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Accurately complete service reports, safety checklists, and field documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to support advancement to higher operator levels.
- Travel regularly to field locations to provide support for ERU operations.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical training is an asset.
- Entry-level or up to 1 year of experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, or field service environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn ERU equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments and perform field-based tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent commitment to safety and following field protocols.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
