The Sales Director, Multifamily will lead strategic growth initiatives by developing enterprise-level partnerships and driving revenue expansion within the multifamily and senior living markets.
This role is designed for a proven sales leader who thrives on building relationships, managing complex opportunities, and closing high-value business deals.
You will engage with property owners, managers, and industry decision-makers to deliver technology solutions that improve connected living experiences.
The position combines consultative selling, market expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate business growth.
Working closely with sales engineering, product, and operations teams, you will shape solutions that align with customer needs and market opportunities.

The Sales Director, Multifamily will be responsible for expanding market presence, developing strategic accounts, and driving profitable revenue growth through consultative enterprise sales. This role requires strong industry knowledge, relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles from opportunity creation through contract execution.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand business opportunities within multifamily and senior living markets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with national and regional property owners and management companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level decision-makers and enterprise customers.
- Manage complex sales processes, including discovery, solution development, proposal creation, contract negotiations, and closing activities.
- Drive sales pipeline development and consistently achieve assigned revenue targets and strategic objectives.
- Partner with sales engineering, product, and operations teams to create scalable, customer-focused solutions.
- Apply consultative selling techniques to understand customer challenges and recommend technology solutions that address business needs.
- Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and business development activities to generate new leads and strengthen market relationships.
- Develop strategic account plans to increase market penetration and expand relationships with key customers.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline visibility through CRM systems.
- Represent the organization professionally by demonstrating accountability, integrity, and customer-focused values.
- Travel approximately 30–40% to meet clients, attend industry events, and support business development activities.
The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional with experience selling technology solutions in complex business-to-business environments. This role requires strong commercial judgment, industry relationships, and the ability to communicate value to senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 4+ years of demonstrated strategic sales experience in B2B environments, particularly within multifamily, senior living, smart-building technology, connectivity solutions, or related industries.
- Proven success managing enterprise accounts, developing sales pipelines, negotiating contracts, and closing complex deals.
- Established network of senior-level contacts within enterprise accounts and relevant industry segments.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions.
- Experience selling technology platforms, network infrastructure, IoT solutions, resident services, or similar products preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction management processes, building technologies, and industry standards is a plus.
- Experience using CRM and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and related business applications.
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel 30–40% based on business requirements.
