Sr. Director, Google Practice Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Director, Google Practice Lead based in United States.

The Sr. Director, Google Practice Lead will be responsible for driving the growth, strategy, and operational success of a leading Google-focused technology practice. This executive-level role combines business leadership, client engagement, revenue generation, and hands-on practice development. The position will shape market strategy, expand service offerings, build high-performing teams, and deliver measurable value for clients. Working across sales, delivery, and technology teams, this leader will influence strategic decisions and accelerate business growth. The ideal candidate is a proven practice builder who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment and can balance long-term vision with practical execution. Accountabilities:

The Sr. Director, Google Practice Lead will own the overall health, growth, and success of the Google ecosystem business by developing market strategies, strengthening operations, and delivering exceptional client outcomes. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive revenue growth while building scalable capabilities and strong partnerships.

  • Partner with business development leadership to create and execute annual business plans aligned with revenue targets, profitability goals, and strategic priorities.
  • Drive business growth by developing sales pipelines, closing complex strategic opportunities, expanding key client relationships, and introducing new Google-focused offerings.
  • Lead strategic sales initiatives, executive-level client engagements, thought leadership efforts, and critical delivery programs.
  • Build and scale practice capabilities, operational processes, and service offerings to support long-term growth.
  • Oversee financial performance, forecasting, business metrics, and operational health of the practice.
  • Conduct business reviews to ensure projects are delivered effectively, within scope and budget, while maintaining strong client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for organizational improvements, strategic investments, and operational enhancements in partnership with executive leadership.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing consulting and technical teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to support continued business success.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading technology practices, strong knowledge of the Google ecosystem, and a proven ability to grow consulting businesses. This role requires a commercially minded leader who can manage executive relationships, drive complex sales cycles, and translate strategic vision into measurable results.

  • 8+ years of experience leading a technology practice, business unit, or consulting organization focused on the Google ecosystem or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proven success building sales pipelines and closing complex, multi-million-dollar technology or consulting engagements.
  • Deep understanding of Google Cloud services, solutions, and the broader Google partner ecosystem.
  • Google certifications or relevant technical credentials are highly preferred.
  • Strong experience managing executive-level client relationships and overseeing complex technology solution delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and scale consulting or technical teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong business strategy, financial management, and operational leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance executive-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
