Master Electrician in Monmouth, Maine at Tex Tech Industries

Tex Tech industries, a global company manufacturing over 7000 products is looking for candidates who want to be part of a growing and evolving leader is seeking a Master Electrician to work at our North Monmouth and Winthrop manufacturing facilities.

Job Summary: The Master Electrician’s primary responsibility is to support production for all maintenance and electrical requirements that are necessary for day-to-day operations. Duties involve the electrical repairs, maintenance and installation of all the tool systems and equipment in the plant. Must be able to read electrical diagrams, and use meters, testers, and hand and power tools safely. A flexible schedule with a willingness to work on projects and overtime is a plus. The candidate must be a licensed Master Electrician in the state of Maine. At times the Master Electrician must have the ability to work off shift if necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent standing and walking up to 8 hours per day.
• Frequent lifting, twisting and bending.
• Occasional kneeling.
• Frequent lifting of 10 to 75 lbs.
• Frequent pushing and pulling.
• Frequent climbing of stairs.
• Occasional use of ladders.
• Fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
• Must have good vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Must to be able to distinguish color variations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Maine Master Electrician’s license
• Preferably a boiler’s license or the willingness to take a boiler license course
• Prior electrical experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
