Accountabilities

Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native applications and services within Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability across enterprise systems.

Build and implement new applications and services using Azure Functions, App Services, and serverless architectures
Develop and integrate APIs and microservices to support system interoperability and business requirements
Work with relational and NoSQL data stores, including Azure Storage solutions (Blob, Table, Queue)
Translate technical requirements and architectural designs into high-quality, production-ready code
Support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities for existing mission-critical applications
Collaborate within Agile teams to participate in design reviews, testing, and continuous delivery practices
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated builds, testing, and deployments
Improve code quality, deployment processes, and system reliability through continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Experienced Microsoft Azure developer with strong backend engineering skills, cloud-native development expertise, and proven ability to work in regulated or enterprise environments.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 7+ years of relevant software development experience (or equivalent experience)
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Functions, App Services, and storage solutions
Solid proficiency in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and Microsoft development tools such as Visual Studio and SQL Server
Experience building APIs, microservices, and scalable cloud-based applications
Strong understanding of NoSQL data modeling and distributed system design
Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing and deployment workflows
Familiarity with relational databases and enterprise integration tools (e.g., SSIS, SSRS, WCF)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile, collaborative environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts clearly
Experience in federal or regulated environments is a plus
Azure-related certifications or experience with financial systems is a plus
