You will also play a key role in supporting Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities for existing platforms. Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native applications and services within Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability across enterprise systems.
- Build and implement new applications and services using Azure Functions, App Services, and serverless architectures
- Develop and integrate APIs and microservices to support system interoperability and business requirements
- Work with relational and NoSQL data stores, including Azure Storage solutions (Blob, Table, Queue)
- Translate technical requirements and architectural designs into high-quality, production-ready code
- Support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities for existing mission-critical applications
- Collaborate within Agile teams to participate in design reviews, testing, and continuous delivery practices
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated builds, testing, and deployments
- Improve code quality, deployment processes, and system reliability through continuous improvement initiatives
Experienced Microsoft Azure developer with strong backend engineering skills, cloud-native development expertise, and proven ability to work in regulated or enterprise environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 7+ years of relevant software development experience (or equivalent experience)
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Functions, App Services, and storage solutions
- Solid proficiency in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and Microsoft development tools such as Visual Studio and SQL Server
- Experience building APIs, microservices, and scalable cloud-based applications
- Strong understanding of NoSQL data modeling and distributed system design
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing and deployment workflows
- Familiarity with relational databases and enterprise integration tools (e.g., SSIS, SSRS, WCF)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile, collaborative environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts clearly
- Experience in federal or regulated environments is a plus
- Azure-related certifications or experience with financial systems is a plus
