Full-Time | Allen, TX | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (Onsite)
Join a New Texas Team Supporting California Hospital Operations
We're building a new Transfer Center in Allen, TX and are looking for experienced RNs to help support patient transfers, admissions, and care coordination for a leading California health system. What You'll Do
• Coordinate patient admissions and interfacility transfers
• Review emergency department admissions for medical necessity and level of care
• Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, payors, and care teams to ensure timely patient placement
• Obtain authorizations and support regulatory compliance (EMTALA/COBRA)
• Help optimize patient flow, continuity of care, and patient outcomes
Qualifications
Required
• Active California RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum of two years of acute care case management hospital nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills
Preferred
• Emergency Department or Critical Care experience
• Case Management, Access Management, or Utilization Management experience
• CCM or ACM certification
• Knowledge of payer requirements
