This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Product Owner based in United States.

This is a remote, full-time leadership opportunity focused on product ownership within a highly regulated communications environment.
You will lead the strategy and evolution of an OpenText Communications platform supporting personalized and operational communications.
The role combines product management, document composition expertise, Agile delivery, and platform governance.
You will translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, templates, and scalable communication capabilities.
Working across technology, marketing, architecture, and business teams, you will help deliver accurate and compliant member communications.
The position offers significant ownership, from roadmap development and prioritization through implementation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
It is well suited to a strategic, technically skilled product leader who enjoys solving complex problems and driving cross-functional outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and drive the OpenText migration strategy and product roadmap, aligning platform capabilities with enterprise priorities and member experience objectives.
  • Serve as the primary product contact for an Agile delivery team, translating business needs into user stories, prioritizing the backlog, and supporting delivery decisions.
  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of personalized, dynamic, operational, and regulatory communications using OpenText Communications.
  • Establish and maintain governance standards covering personalization rules, data, branding, content, version control, documentation, and audit trails.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on OpenText capabilities, document composition, and communication execution, while mentoring colleagues on effective practices.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture, MarTech, strategy teams, and business stakeholders to develop scalable solutions and translate requirements into communication templates.
  • Analyze implementation issues and defects, identify root causes, coordinate resolutions, and support quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain platform documentation and contribute to process improvements that increase communication accuracy, scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Support compliance with applicable healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory communication requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and manage competing priorities, dependencies, and deadlines to ensure successful product delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience creating dynamic documents using OpenText Communications.
  • Strong knowledge of document composition concepts, including layouts, style sheets, variables, repeating data tables, and document flow.
  • Understanding of logical coding concepts such as IF/THEN/ELSE statements and loops.
  • Experience with driver-file mapping and variable mapping for document logic and content creation.
  • Demonstrated product management and leadership experience, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Strong experience managing multiple priorities, tracking progress, resolving issues, and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Proven ability to conduct defect analysis, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Preferred experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Experience with Smart Communications or similar content-development platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry, particularly healthcare or financial services, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid requirements, as well as marketing operations, fulfillment processes, and Agile methodologies, is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary: $115,200–$158,400, depending on qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
  • Eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and/or organizational performance.
  • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Paid time off, company and personal holidays, and paid parental and caregiver leave.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • Life insurance and additional employee support programs.
  • Dedicated resources and opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.
  • Remote employees are expected to maintain a suitable dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection, with minimum recommended speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
