Description: HTI is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician with a leading automotive manufacturing company. This position will provide hands-on technical support for complex CNC production machinery, equipment, processes, and tooling while driving long-term improvements in reliability and productivity. This is an hourly, 2nd-shift position working 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. The pay rate is $34.83 per hour.

What You Need:

• High School Diploma/GED; two-year technical degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing facility
• Hands-on CNC machining, machine-tool, or machining-process experience
• Experience troubleshooting production machinery, automation, or machine-building systems
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
• CAD modeling and detailing experience using SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge of PLC logic/controls and pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Engineering Technician will support CNC machining and manufacturing operations by diagnosing equipment, process, and tooling issues; developing sustainable corrective actions; and completing technical projects with limited supervision.

• Provide technical assistance for CNC equipment operation and programming
• Support machine changeovers, preventive maintenance, and process documentation
• Diagnose machinery problems and implement long-term corrective actions
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
• Perform quality inspections using attribute and variable gauges
• Create mechanical drawings and design or fabricate tools and fixtures
• Support machine installations, moves, prototypes, and new-program development
• Coordinate with engineering, production, machine builders, and cross-functional teams
• Complete projects with minimal supervision while following all safety procedures
