Job Description
Shepherd's Flock Preschool in Arlington Heights is hiring a part-time Teacher Assistant, $18.00–$18.50/hour, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. You'll help care for toddlers ages 18 months to 2.5 years in a nurturing, structured classroom.
As a Teacher Assistant, you'll work alongside the Lead Teacher to run daily classroom activities, keep the room safe and engaging, and give toddlers consistent, attentive care throughout the morning.
What you'll do
- Support the Lead Teacher in running daily classroom activities
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Assist with daily routines, supervision, and age-appropriate activities
- Provide attentive, consistent care to toddlers ages 18 months to 2.5 years
- Work as part of a collaborative teaching team
What you'll need
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience caring for children
- Comfortable working with toddlers ages 18 months to 2.5 years
Pay and benefits
