Job Description

Senior Contract Management Professional

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Contract Management Professional based in United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced contract professional who can independently manage complex negotiations and contractual risk.
You will serve as a key advisor to business stakeholders, helping structure agreements that support strategic objectives while protecting the organization from legal, financial, and operational exposure.
The role gives you significant autonomy to review, draft, redline, and negotiate contracts directly with third parties.
You will collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and business teams to balance commercial priorities with compliance and risk considerations.
As a senior individual contributor, you will influence departmental strategy and make decisions on complex contractual matters.
The position offers an opportunity to bring strong judgment, attention to detail, and negotiation expertise to a large, highly regulated healthcare environment.
You will work remotely on Eastern or Central time-zone hours, with limited travel required.

Accountabilities:
  • Advise business partners and stakeholders on contractual risks, mitigation strategies, and negotiation considerations before agreements are executed.
  • Independently negotiate with third parties, redline contract language, and provide detailed assessments of legal, financial, operational, and commercial risks.
  • Review, draft, negotiate, and administer complex agreements while ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance requirements, and organizational interests.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders to structure agreements that enable growth while appropriately managing risk.
  • Evaluate contract terms and conditions, identify potential exposures, and recommend practical solutions that balance business priorities with risk management.
  • Support negotiations across different contract types, industries, regions, and business requirements as applicable.
  • Contribute to contract management strategy and influence improvements in departmental approaches, processes, and practices.
  • Exercise independent judgment when addressing moderately complex to highly complex contractual issues and determine appropriate approaches without extensive direction.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple negotiations, agreements, and competing priorities.
  • Use contract lifecycle management tools and related systems to support efficient contract review, tracking, administration, and execution.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or an advanced degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; alternatively, 5+ years of progressive experience in contract management, negotiation, or a related field may substitute for an advanced degree.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts, with direct responsibility for contractual terms and conditions.
  • Proven ability to independently redline agreements and identify contractual, financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Strong understanding of contract negotiation principles and the ability to translate complex contractual considerations into practical business recommendations.
  • Experience negotiating directly with third parties is preferred, particularly across multiple industries, regions, or contract types such as procurement, sales, services, or licensing.
  • Experience with creative or complex contract drafting within a regulated environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms such as Ironclad, Icertis, or comparable systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance commercial objectives with compliance, risk mitigation, and operational considerations.
  • Ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions without relying on direct authority.
Benefits:
  • Salary: $86,300–$118,700 per year, with actual compensation varying based on geographic location, skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
  • Bonus opportunity: Eligibility for an incentive plan based on organizational and/or individual performance.
  • Remote work: Fully remote position with nationwide eligibility.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, operating on Eastern or Central Standard Time hours.
  • Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement: 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Paid time off: Paid time off, company holidays, and personal holidays.
  • Family support: Paid parental and caregiver leave.
  • Insurance: Short-term and long-term disability coverage and life insurance.
  • Flexibility: Remote work environment with occasional travel, approximately 1–2 times per year, for training or meetings.
  • Home-office requirements: Dedicated workspace and reliable internet service, with minimum recommended speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
