Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Designer III - Telecom - Healthcare in United States.
This role is a highly technical, coordination-focused design position within multidisciplinary engineering projects supporting complex building technology systems. You will take ownership of advanced modeling, documentation quality, and BIM coordination across telecom and healthcare-related infrastructure environments. Working closely with engineers, project leads, and production teams, you will help ensure accurate, well-coordinated digital models that directly support construction documentation and system design execution. The role combines hands-on Revit expertise with growing engineering judgment, allowing you to contribute to both technical design decisions and workflow improvements. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where precision, coordination, and continuous improvement are essential. This position also plays a key role in mentoring junior designers and strengthening overall modeling standards across projects.
- Lead the development of coordinated Revit models, drawings, and construction documentation across telecom and healthcare technology projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering intent.
- Manage BIM coordination activities, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline issue resolution using tools such as Navisworks or ACC.
- Apply advanced modeling standards, maintain model health, and ensure proper use of worksets, families, views, and templates to support efficient coordination.
- Support early engineering tasks including calculations, system layouts, product research, and specification development with increasing independence.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to improve design clarity, resolve technical conflicts, and maintain consistent documentation quality.
- Contribute to workflow improvements by updating templates, standards, and documentation practices through structured feedback and Pull Requests.
- Participate in coordination meetings, producing clear documentation, tracking risks, and ensuring alignment across disciplines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Designer I and II team members, supporting modeling quality and coordination best practices.
- 4+ years of experience in the AEC industry with strong proficiency in Revit-based modeling and coordinated construction documentation.
- Experience supporting or delivering technology system designs such as telecom, ICT, audiovisual, security, network, or Wi-Fi systems.
- Strong understanding of BIM coordination workflows, including clash detection, model management, and cross-discipline collaboration.
- Ability to perform advanced modeling tasks independently while maintaining high standards of model integrity and documentation accuracy.
- Solid technical foundation in engineering principles, with ability to support calculations, research, and design development activities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and project priorities.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, and collaboration platforms.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members in production or coordination environments.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and technical expertise
- Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- Remote-first work flexibility with occasional site or project visits
- Opportunities for professional development and technical specialization
- Exposure to complex, multidisciplinary engineering and technology projects
- Collaborative environment with strong mentorship and learning pathways
