Are you the type of person who enjoys building things, solving problems, and seeing a finished machine come to life because of your work? If so, we want to meet you. At MMT, we design and build advanced automation equipment, custom machinery, and handling systems used in high-tech manufacturing environments around the world. We are looking for a skilled Assembler II who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship. This is not repetitive assembly line work. You will build complex mechanical and electrical systems, work with engineers, troubleshoot issues, and play a key role in bringing custom equipment to life.
What You’ll Do
- Build and assemble complex mechanical and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring schematics, and production orders
- Perform electrical wiring, soldering, pneumatic, and hydraulic assembly work
- Assemble subassemblies and complete final integration of equipment
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot assembly or operational issues and collaborate with Engineering when needed
- Help improve processes by recommending solutions and improvements
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
- Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills
- Experience using hand tools, measuring tools, and assembly equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical or electrical issues
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school or vocational training is a plus
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With
- Soldering
- Pneumatic or hydraulic systems
- Custom machinery or automation equipment
- Mechanical integration and machine building
