Laundry Attendant (Luxury 5-star Hotel)

We are partnering with a prestigious luxury hospitality group to recruit professional and service-oriented Laundry Attendants to join a high-standard hotel operation.

This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering refined service, understand 5-star standards, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens, including bed sheets, duvet covers, and towels, ensuring they meet the hotels "ultra-soft and crisp" luxury standards.

• Ensure all guest rooms and outlets are fully supplied with impeccably clean, sanitized, and stain-free linens, table cloths, and napkins at all times.

• Regularly inspect linens and guest garments for tears, stains, or wear; ensure every item meets elite presentation standards before being returned to service.

• Identify and promptly report machinery malfunctions (washers, dryers, or ironers), chemical leaks, or safety hazards within the laundry facility.

• Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests with extreme care, ensuring delicate fabrics are treated professionally and returned to guests with a 5-star finish.

• Follow strict hygiene and safety procedures when handling soiled linens and industrial chemicals, ensuring a sterile and safe environment at all times.

• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and Floor Attendants to ensure a steady "par level" of linens is maintained for smooth room turnarounds.

• Execute expert pressing, steaming, and ironing for luxury materials (silk, wool, fine cotton), maintaining the pristine aesthetic of staff uniforms and guest attire.

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Laundry Attendant or Linen Room Assistant within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.

• Comprehensive knowledge of textile care, including the ability to identify different fabric types (silk, wool, linen, synthetics) and their specific washing/drying temperature requirements.

• Proficient in the safe operation of industrial laundry equipment, including high-capacity washers, dryers, folders, and specialized steam-pressing machines.

• Deep understanding of laundry detergents, bleaches, and spotting chemicals; ability to effectively treat complex stains without damaging delicate guest garments.

• A "critic's eye" for spotting even the smallest stains, tears, or loose threads on guest linens and staff uniforms before they are returned to service.

• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods, folding large linens, and lifting heavy laundry bags/baskets in a warm environment.

• Positive attitude with a strong service mindset and respect for guest privacy.

• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.

• Professional appearance with a polished service attitude aligned with luxury standards.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills even under pressure.
