Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Creative Curriculum.
- Foster positive, supportive relationships with each child while promoting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Build strong partnerships with families and encourage meaningful family engagement.
- Communicate with families daily regarding their child's progress and participate in family conferences twice annually.
- Attend Kiddie Academy staff meetings, Department of Education (DOE) professional development sessions, and weekly 3-K team meetings to support collaboration and ensure activities align with quality standards.
Qualifications:
- BA or MA in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
**Must hold or be on track to hold one of the following New York State teaching certificates to be eligible to apply:·
- Early Childhood (Birth – Grade 2);
- Nursery, Kindergarten and Grades 1–6 (N–6);
- Prekindergarten–Grade 6 (P–6); or
- Students with Disabilities (Birth – Grade 2)
- 10 month position (Summer Camp optional)
- English-Mandarin bilingual skills are an asset
