This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Gerente Operações P&C based in Brazil.
This is a leadership role responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of P&C policy and endorsement issuance.
You will ensure technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, service-level performance, and consistent delivery across the operation.
The role combines people leadership with hands-on support for complex second-level cases and operational escalations.
You will work closely with internal teams and insurers to resolve issues, manage priorities, and maintain high service standards.
A strong focus on data, quality controls, continuous improvement, and process standardization will be central to your impact.
You will also lead initiatives involving automation and AI-enabled tools, with appropriate governance, information security, LGPD compliance, and human validation.

- Lead the P&C policy and endorsement issuance and verification operation, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, compliance with negotiated terms, and adherence to insurer requirements.
- Manage the operational workflow, including prioritization, capacity allocation, urgent requests, SLA performance, and removal of operational blockers.
- Serve as the technical reference for second-level support, guiding the team through complex cases, exceptions, and escalations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and insurers to align on outstanding items, deadlines, documentation requirements, and technical validations.
- Escalate issues appropriately and ensure effective resolution while maintaining clear communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor operational and quality KPIs, including cycle time, SLA adherence, rework, pending requests, and returns or rejections.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive action plans to improve operational performance.
- Establish and maintain quality controls such as checklists, sampling processes, double-check procedures, and audit evidence trails.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the team by setting priorities, delegating activities, supporting performance, and ensuring standardized execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through standardization, automation, templates, controls, and reporting enhancements.
- Leverage Microsoft tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve productivity and operational efficiency while maintaining appropriate security, traceability, governance, LGPD compliance, and human validation.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, accountability, and customer-focused service delivery.
- Solid professional experience in P&C insurance, particularly in policy and endorsement issuance and related operational processes.
- Strong knowledge of applicable insurance legislation, regulations, policies, and market requirements.
- Demonstrated experience managing operational performance, including SLAs, capacity, productivity, quality, prioritization, and workflow management.
- Previous experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to delegate effectively, provide direction, and manage performance.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, including VLOOKUP/PROCV and Pivot Tables/Tabelas Dinâmicas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to identifying operational issues and opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Experience implementing process improvements and automation involving controls, reports, templates, and standardized workflows is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for analysis, triage, summarization, or workflow optimization, particularly when used with appropriate governance, LGPD compliance, and human validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence insurers, internal teams, and clients.
- Strong negotiation and conflict-management abilities, particularly when managing competing priorities, deadlines, and operational constraints.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
