Lucky Bastard Saloon – Food Runner

Position Summary & Responsibilities

The Food Runner ensures that prepared food is delivered accurately and with a sense of urgency to the correct table. The Food Runner must be detail oriented and must quickly be able to identify that food has been prepared to company specifications. A qualified applicant is enthusiastic, work at all times with a sense of urgency, be friendly, a team player and highly organized and a clean freak. The Food runner acts as a liaison between the expeditors/line cooks and the servers/guests. Food Runners also assist guests with special needs particularly at the time of meal delivery. This list of responsibilities is not meant to be all-inclusive. The team member is responsible for other associated duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have all certifications and licenses required by local Health Department and/or Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment. Be able to stand and walk for up to eight or more hours and navigate throughout the restaurant, be able to lift 10-30 pounds, use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
  • Must be able to visually discern cleanliness, safety, & food quality.
  • Must be highly organized and have an excellent personality with our guests.
  • Hours may vary. Team members must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
