We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Functional Specialist / Financial Reporting System Analyst to support a federal government client on Capitol Hill. In this role, you'll provide post-upgrade and production support for a large-scale PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environment, help expand how the platform is used across the organization, and lead an Insight dashboards initiative from planning through build. This is a great opportunity for a PeopleSoft Financials consultant who enjoys hands-on functional work, direct engagement with end users, and the credibility that comes with supporting a federal government client. This position is contingent upon contract award.
- Support post-upgrade activities for the client's PeopleSoft Financials ERP application, following a recent version upgrade.
- Evaluate additional functionality and identify new ways to apply current functionality to increase value for the organization.
- Plan and complete an Insight dashboards initiative, including standing up the capability and building module-specific dashboards.
- Provide ongoing production support, including adding new reports and enhancements to PeopleSoft Financials.
- Support continued development and testing of PeopleSoft Financials and related applications.
- Partner directly with client staff and other consultants to support the PeopleSoft system, its users, and related projects.
- Create, update, and review functional documentation, including policies and procedures, operations manuals, change requests, and training materials.
- Work closely with business users to troubleshoot issues and capture new business requirements.
- At least one full lifecycle engagement as a PeopleSoft Financials Consultant/Analyst on a large-scale financial systems ERP implementation or upgrade.
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials modules, specifically: General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, and Asset Management.
- Relevant, recent experience with PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2.
- Demonstrated ability to create, update, and review functional documentation (policies and procedures, operations manuals, change requests, training materials).
- Strong business/systems analysis experience, with a track record of working closely with end users to resolve problems and capture new business requirements.
- Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to think and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials at a federal government entity.
- Experience with entry events and the flow of accounting transactions between Purchasing, Commitment Control, and General Ledger.
- Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools (nVision, Crystal, PS Query).
- Experience with PeopleSoft security administration.
- 9-month base contract, estimated at up to 1,470 hours (approx. 9/25/2026 – 9/24/2027).
- Based in Washington, D.C., supporting House of Representatives.
