This is a mid-level People Operations role focused on managing core personnel and payroll activities within an accounting environment.
You will take ownership of employee lifecycle processes, including admissions, terminations, vacations, payroll, and statutory obligations.
The position combines technical responsibility with direct client support, requiring accuracy, organization, and strong knowledge of Brazilian labor and social security routines.
You will help ensure deadlines are met, documentation is complete, and payroll and compliance processes are handled reliably.
The role also provides opportunities to advise clients and identify potential labor risks before they become issues.
This is a fully remote position suited to someone who works independently, embraces technology, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities.
The opportunity offers a high level of autonomy while working in a client-focused accounting environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage employee admission, termination, vacation, and other personnel administration processes accurately and within applicable deadlines.
  • Prepare, calculate, review, and close monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Calculate and submit employment-related obligations and charges, including INSS, FGTS, eSocial, and DCTFWeb.
  • Review ancillary labor and payroll obligations to ensure compliance and help mitigate potential labor-related risks.
  • Provide clients with clear guidance and support regarding personnel administration, payroll, and employment-related routines.
  • Organize employee and payroll documentation and maintain effective control of statutory and operational deadlines.
  • Monitor processes carefully to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain the quality of deliverables.
  • Use digital tools and productivity systems effectively in a fully remote working environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients while maintaining proactive, professional, and responsive communication.
  • Contribute to efficient department processes through strong organization, ownership, and continuous attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Solid professional experience in Personnel Department (Departamento Pessoal), preferably within an accounting firm or accounting services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor and social security processes and regulations.
  • Practical experience with payroll closing and related statutory and ancillary obligations.
  • Experience with admissions, terminations, vacations, payroll calculations, and employee documentation.
  • Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with digital and technology-based tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with careful attention to deadlines and accuracy.
  • Good customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to clients.
  • Proactive, responsible, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Intermediate leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with GCLICK, SCI Único Visual, or Domínio is considered an advantage.
  • Comfortable working fully remotely with productivity monitoring software.
Benefits:
  • 100% remote, home-office work model.
  • Full-time opportunity under a PJ/freelancer arrangement.
  • Mid-level position offering autonomy and technical responsibility.
  • Opportunity to work directly with clients and develop consultative skills.
  • Exposure to payroll, labor compliance, statutory obligations, and broader personnel administration processes.
  • Opportunity to strengthen technical expertise in Brazilian accounting and labor routines.
  • Technology-enabled working environment with digital tools and systems.
  • Professional experience in a client-focused accounting environment.
