Job Summary:
The PPAP coordinator is responsible for ensuring all high-level customer requirements are met
prior to shipment, quality documentation is controlled and maintained, confirming product meets
or exceeds the industry established or customer specific quality standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing and completing online customer portal activities
- Ensuring daily required documentation, notifications, inspections, and shipments
- Preparing/ reviewing necessary customer required documentation in timely manner
- Enter, submit, and maintain PPAP’s for applicable items
- Work together with Sales, Engineering and Production Departments on projects and customer requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills with internal and external customers
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Knowledge of Quality standards, customer specific requirements
Education and Experience:
- 2-3 years’ experience in quality assurance or engineering related position
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA and implementations of corrective action plans
Physical Requirements:
- Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment
- Occasional lifting up to 15lbs.
- Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day
- Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work
- Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time
- Simultaneously mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area.
