This is a senior consulting opportunity focused on delivering sophisticated Atlassian-based technology solutions for customers across diverse industries.
You will combine technical expertise, solution design, and project leadership to translate business requirements into scalable implementations.
The role spans technical discovery, architecture, configuration, integrations, migrations, troubleshooting, and end-to-end technical delivery.
You will work closely with solutions and project teams while also providing technical guidance and informal mentorship to other consultants.
Your expertise will help customers modernize collaboration, IT service management, Agile delivery, and work management environments.
The position offers exposure to complex Atlassian ecosystems, cloud transformations, customizations, and enterprise technology challenges.
It is well suited to a technically strong consultant who can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and take ownership of complex delivery engagements.
- Lead and guide consulting teams in implementing technical solutions aligned with customer requirements and established solution strategies.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, configurations, existing challenges, system capabilities, and improvement opportunities.
- Define and document technical architectures, implementation approaches, technical designs, and solution presentations.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for designing and implementing customer solutions throughout project delivery.
- Decompose technical work into actionable tasks, assign activities where appropriate, and coordinate execution across project teams.
- Design, configure, deploy, and integrate Atlassian applications according to customer requirements and technical specifications.
- Build integrations and customizations based on solution designs and functional specifications.
- Analyze customer technical needs and translate them into practical, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Develop technical and functional specifications, requirements documentation, architecture diagrams, and delivery materials.
- Install and configure Jira and Confluence Server environments on Linux platforms when required.
- Create and implement cloud environments according to customer specifications and technical requirements.
- Lead Server/Data Center-to-Cloud migrations for Atlassian applications.
- Implement basic to complex Jira and related application workflows.
- Develop or support specific add-ons and custom technical components as required.
- Resolve complex technical issues and provide recommendations to improve system performance, feasibility, reliability, and maintainability.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations throughout projects, ensuring solutions align with customer objectives and technical best practices.
- Take ownership of technical delivery across assigned projects while collaborating closely with project and solutions teams.
- Provide technical knowledge and informal mentorship to other technical consultants and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery practices.
- 3–6 years of proven experience in ITSM, Agile, digital transformation, or technology consulting.
- 3–6 years of strong hands-on experience with Atlassian products, particularly Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket; Jira Align experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to connect technology capabilities with business objectives and measurable customer outcomes.
- Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting Atlassian environments.
- Experience with Atlassian application migrations, including Server/Data Center-to-Cloud transformations.
- Experience with integrations, automation, customization, and reporting ecosystems surrounding Atlassian solutions.
- Ability to conduct technical discovery, assess existing environments, identify requirements, and recommend appropriate technical approaches.
- Experience producing technical documentation, functional specifications, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex customer challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership of projects and coordinate work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL, SAFe, or Lean-Agile frameworks is preferred.
- Experience implementing or integrating technologies such as Salesforce or ServiceNow is a plus.
- Previous experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or software/services consulting is desirable.
- Atlassian accreditations, Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP), ITIL, or SAFe certifications are a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.
