Project Manager (RPA & AI Delivery)
Accountabilities:
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager (RPA & AI Delivery) based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end delivery of RPA, AI, Intelligent Automation, and digital transformation initiatives for global customers. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across business analysis, architecture, development, QA, and delivery. The position combines project governance, client engagement, financial oversight, and delivery excellence. You will have significant ownership over timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and quality. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with exposure to emerging automation and AI technologies. - Lead projects through the complete lifecycle, from initiation and planning through delivery, deployment, hypercare, and closure, ensuring scope, timelines, budget, quality, and deliverables remain on track.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, resource requirements, and delivery strategies while coordinating dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Serve as the primary client contact during project execution, leading kick-offs, status meetings, steering committees, executive presentations, and escalation management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including solution architects, developers, business analysts, QA professionals, delivery managers, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor project health, KPIs, milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and issues, maintaining RAID logs and proactively implementing mitigation plans.
- Prepare weekly status reports, executive dashboards, project health reports, governance documentation, and leadership updates in accordance with PMO standards.
- Manage project budgets, effort utilization, burn rates, forecasts, resource productivity, change requests, and scope adjustments.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies where applicable, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, while supporting UAT, production deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, quality standards, governance practices, and project execution.
- Manage vendors, stakeholders, and customer expectations while resolving conflicts, escalations, and delivery challenges effectively.
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives by applying an understanding of RPA, AI, APIs, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and software development lifecycles.
- Measure project success through delivery timeliness, customer satisfaction, budget adherence, resource utilization, quality, risk resolution, governance compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
- 4–6 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably managing software implementation, digital transformation, RPA, AI, automation, or enterprise technology projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience managing projects end to end, including planning, scheduling, scope, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, change management, governance, and delivery.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Exposure to RPA, Intelligent Automation, AI, Generative AI, or digital transformation projects; experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of APIs, SQL, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and business process automation concepts.
- Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, Monday.com, Trello, or Asana.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience working with global customers and managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client-facing communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong leadership, prioritization, time management, adaptability, ownership, and accountability.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), PMI-ACP, or other Agile certifications are preferred.
