This role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects from initiation through successful completion in a dynamic enterprise IT environment. You will define project objectives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and changing requirements. Working with minimal supervision, you will take ownership of complex issues and ensure projects remain aligned with business goals. The role requires strong communication and the ability to translate technical and functional information into clear decisions and actions. You will also establish performance metrics, communicate progress to leadership, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. - Define project scope, objectives, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop, communicate, and execute comprehensive project plans, adapting them as priorities, requirements, and business needs evolve.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project activities are completed effectively and according to plan.
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and changes while balancing delivery objectives with risk considerations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish project KPIs and performance metrics to measure progress, outcomes, and overall project effectiveness.
- Lead regular project status meetings and provide clear, timely updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation in accordance with organizational standards and governance requirements.
- Evaluate project performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement approaches that enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
- Assess complex issues independently, determine appropriate courses of action, and escalate matters to leadership when necessary.
- Present technical and functional information clearly, outlining key issues and practical options for resolution.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to project team members or subordinate groups as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience.
- 4–6+ years of project management experience within enterprise IT environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and execute complex project plans involving multiple stakeholders and diverse operating environments.
- Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical or functional issues concisely and facilitate discussions around potential solutions.
- Experience managing projects with changing requirements, competing priorities, and complex dependencies.
- Proficiency with project management software; experience with Smartsheet is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment regarding escalation and stakeholder management.
- Flexible and adaptable working style, with the ability to respond quickly to changing environments, timelines, and business requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Annual salary of $115,000–$125,000.
