This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Executive based in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth across the Latin American market for a leading technology-enabled learning portfolio.
You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation through negotiation, closing, and post-sale relationship development.
The position combines strategic account planning with hands-on outbound selling, networking, and customer engagement.
You will build strong relationships with education and corporate organizations while identifying opportunities for expansion and long-term partnerships.
Working closely with marketing and customer success teams, you will turn customer insights into effective sales strategies and improved experiences.
The role requires a highly autonomous, commercially driven professional who is comfortable working across diverse LATAM markets.
Regular participation in industry events and up to 50% travel will provide opportunities to expand market presence and strengthen strategic relationships.
- Develop and execute detailed territory and account plans to achieve assigned sales goals and revenue targets across Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and broader LATAM markets.
- Own the complete sales cycle, including prospect identification, qualification, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, closing, and relationship development.
- Proactively generate qualified pipeline through cold calling, account-based prospecting, networking, and other structured outbound activities.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and business objectives to deliver personalized, value-driven software solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts and develop them into long-term commercial partnerships.
- Design and implement creative sales strategies based on market conditions, customer feedback, and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing by sharing insights from prospects and customers and contributing to campaigns and go-to-market initiatives.
- Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitive dynamics, and developments across education, HR, learning, and development sectors.
- Represent the organization at educational technology conferences, HR events, and other industry gatherings throughout Latin America.
- Partner with customer success after the sale to support the overall customer experience, conduct follow-up conversations, identify areas for improvement, and uncover expansion opportunities.
- Consistently track sales activity, manage the pipeline, and deliver against established performance targets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic background.
- At least 3 years of sales experience within the EdTech, software, SaaS, language learning, or training technology industry, preferably within the LATAM territory.
- Proven ability to independently source leads through cold calling, cold outreach, networking, and account-based prospecting.
- Experience with value selling or solution selling of software products, SaaS platforms, language-learning solutions, or training technologies.
- Experience selling to education and corporate customers, particularly large organizations.
- Prior exposure to the education, HR, learning, and development sectors is an advantage.
- Strong customer-oriented approach with excellent active listening, discovery, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, accountability, persistence, and commercial drive.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities independently.
- Excellent proficiency in both Spanish and English; Portuguese proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the academic sector and language training is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, web conferencing tools, and other standard sales technologies.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% as required for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining a high level of initiative, ownership, and follow-through.
