Pay Range: $68,724.00 - $97,073.00 per year

Pay Transparency:

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Provide assistance to the Director which includes but not limited to analyzing the Revenue & Expense variances, Capital Schedules, Budgets, Audits, and other accounting and financial processes.

A typical day as a Financial analyst:

  • Prepares general ledger journal entries and reclassification entries as needed for Department Heads and Finance Team
  • Provide analysis of month end financial statements for Financial and Senior Leadership
  • Conducts monthly expense assessment and budget variance justification
  • Provides support during the preparation of the annual operating and capital budget which includes but is not limited to preparing required schedules and assessments
  • Collaborate with unit leaders to communicate and provide clarification on biweekly payroll and productivity results
  • Assists and provides other support as needed for Finance, Corporate Finance, and Senior Management
  • Work with Corporate AP team to assist with various needs and requests of the site
  • Prepare, organize and edit various financial data for the Finance team and Senior management
  • Participate in various committees and groups within the hospital to spearhead financial goals at the site level
  • May perform other duties as assigned or directed by management

To Be considered for this role you must have:

  • Education Required: Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
  • Experience Required: Zero to two years experience in general accounting or hospital finance
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
  • EPIC EMR system preferred
