Job Description

We're seeking a Project Coordinator in Denver, CO. We're on a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and the other three either from home or the field as needed. 

Essential Functions      

Working under the guidance of professional architects, Project Coordinators will:  

Assist in the review and evaluation of existing buildings and new construction Perform field observations for property condition assessments, construction loan monitoring and new construction Perform plan reviews for general code compliance and adequacy of construction, including coordination, detailing, and building materials and systems Perform cost comparison and budget analysis for new construction projectsPerform existing building replacement cost evaluationsAssist in architectural/engineering repair projects for existing buildingsTravel as needed to project sites

Our work covers most commercial building types, including office, retail, industrial, hotel/hospitality and multifamily, and is focused on technical and practical solutions. There are limited to no design opportunities in this role.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience      

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or architectural engineering1- 5 years of experience at an architecture firm is ideal. New graduates with one to two related internships may be considered.Hours completed towards licensure preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel and Bluebeam, with Box AI a plusGeneral understanding of building materials and methodsDeveloping ability to read and interpret construction drawingsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work autonomously, remain organized, and take initiativeWillingness to travel locally and regionally

Physical Requirements

Candidates should have the ability to:

Move through construction and existing building sites over rough terrainSee and respond to dangerous situations Respond quickly to sounds Ascend and descend ladders and stairs Move safely through confined spaces and narrow paths Work in outdoor weather conditions or unconditioned areas Operate a computer and other related office equipment, and possessvisual acuity to read information from printed sources and computer screensLift up to 40 pounds (ex: ladders)Travel approximately 25-50% of the time both in and out of state
