Transport Driver (subcontractor) in Council Bluffs, Iowa at Edwards Auto Group

Edwards Auto Group, based in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for a reliable Sub-contracted Transport Driver to jour our team. This is an On-call position with availability needed Monday-Friday. This is a great position for a retiree with experience driving large trucks and or heavy equipment. The Transport Driver is paid based on mileage, with flat-rate pay for certain round trip distances. Earning varying pay from $250-$1250+ per week.

Responsibilities

• Secure & Transport vehicles to and from residential & commercial customers including dealer trades etc.
• Load & unload vehicles
• Complete all required paperwork
• Maintain communication throughout each trip
• Take detailed photos of each vehicle before and after transport

• MUST have previous OTR trucking or similar driver experience
• CDL license is preferred
• Clean MVR
• Excellent communication skills as you will be working with residential and commercial customers
