Wave Dental Specialists is looking for an experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our specialty team and work alongside our exceptional Oral Surgeon!

We are a multi-specialty dental practice committed to providing exceptional, personalized patient care in a friendly and supportive environment. Our team works together to create a great experience for both our patients and each other.

• Minimum 1 year of oral surgery dental assisting experience required
• DAANCE Certified OR IV Certified required
• EFDA experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures and patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, organized, and patient-focused
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain

• Assist the Oral Surgeon during surgical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and patients
• Take and develop dental radiographs
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
• Monitor and maintain dental equipment and supplies
• Help provide a positive, comfortable patient experience

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
• CPR & first aid certificate.

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
