Specializing in baked goods and desserts, pastry cooks are the scientists of the kitchen. Precision, consistency, and creativity are the name of the game, and a Pastry Cook is master of these traits. Responsible for the production and presentation of breads, cakes, and pastries, and other delectable, this individual enjoys being a part of a team dynamic and is adept at following directions and communicating with the chef team.

Requested Tasks

-Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment

-Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe

-Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation

-Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment when needed and within budget

-Setting up, cleaning, and organizing a workstation

Requested Capabilities

-Prior experience as a Pastry Cook highly preferred

-Innovative and creative personality

-A passion for all things pastry and confectionary
