Trust Counsel, P.L. is an estate planning, probate, guardianship, and litigation firm in Coral Gables. People come to us after a new grandchild, a business sale, a second marriage, or a health scare, and most have been putting off this conversation for years. The Estate Planning Consultant is the person they sit down with. Our attorneys give the legal advice, recommend each family's plan, and draft the documents. You make sure families arrive at that conversation prepared, and you help them move forward once they have their recommendation.

This is a sales role with clear performance targets. It fits people who have sold a high-trust service in a consultative setting, such as financial advising, insurance, wealth management, or pharmaceutical and medical device sales, and who want work where the outcome matters to the family in front of them.

$65,000 yearly

• Meet with prospective clients before their attorney design meeting; gather the family, asset, and goal information the attorney needs.

• Explain how our process works, what each step involves, and what it costs; send every legal question to the attorney, including which documents fit the family and anything about the engagement agreement terms.

• After the attorney recommends a plan, address the client's concerns about timing, budget, and process, and ask for the decision.

• Prepare engagement agreements for attorney approval and collect retainers.

• Hand each new client to the legal team with complete notes so they never have to repeat their story.

• Follow up on a set cadence with prospects who did not engage or missed their meeting until you get a clear yes or no.

• Build relationships with referral sources, including CPAs, financial advisors, and insurance agents.

• Log every meeting, outcome, and follow-up in our CRM and report weekly on meetings held, engagements, average case value, and lead quality.

• Take part in weekly calls and meeting reviews. We have a defined sales process, and we expect you to learn it and run it.

• 3 or more years in consultative sales of a high-trust or high-ticket service, with numbers you can show us: quota attainment, close rate, revenue closed.

• Comfort talking with people about money, family, aging, and health, and asking direct questions about all of them.

• A record of taking coaching and applying it quickly.

• Discipline with a CRM and with follow-up.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

• Experience in financial services, insurance, estate planning, or a law firm is a plus. A paralegal background with real sales results is also a plus.
