Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team. As a BT, you will be responsible for implementing early intervention plans designed by the Program Coordinator to improve the lives of individuals with developmental delays and or disabilities. You will work directly with clients in their homes, schools, and community settings to provide one-on-one therapy sessions and collect data on their progress. Your work will be critical in helping our clients achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Current Drivers License and Auto Insurance
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or related field
  • Experience working in a clinical or educational setting
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
  • RBT certification
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • CPR/First Aid Certification

Responsibilities:

  • Upon hire, completion of an RBT training program
  • Implement early intervention plans designed by Clinical Supervisors
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients
  • Collect data on client progress
  • Collaborate with Supervisors and other team members to ensure effective treatment
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress and treatment plans

Skills:

As a Behavior Technician, you will use your strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. You will also use your attention to detail and organizational skills to collect and maintain accurate data on client progress. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be critical in ensuring effective treatment for our clients. Additionally, your knowledge of ABA therapy and experience working with individuals with developmental delays and or disabilities will be essential in providing high-quality care.
