Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
A Patient Companion facilitates the provision of close patient monitoring and surveillance for a patient who is classified as actively a danger to self and/or others. A Patient Companion performs specific tasks and functions as delegated by the Registered Nurse/Practical Nurse and according to established practices and procedures.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Completion of high school level course work preferred.
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
