Position Title: Teller Representative
Department: West Street Branch
Work Arrangement: In-Office
Sign on bonus: $1,500.00 sign on bonus available for full-time employment. Eligibility for the bonus is $500 after successful completion of onboarding/training to be paid with two months of service, and $1,000 after 6 months of continued full-time satisfactory service.

The Teller Representative provides high-quality member service through efficient, accurate, and friendly teller transactions. Promotes credit union products and services, ensures compliance with operational policies, and maintains cash handling standards. Contributes to Greylock’s mission and IDEA principles by fostering inclusive and member-focused financial experiences.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
50%
Accurately processes member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, etc.) in accordance with credit union procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring proper documentation and balances work and cash daily.
20%
Manages cash and coin inventory, requests and verifies currency, and follows all cash control policies to ensure accuracy and security.
15%
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of credit union procedures, services, and compliance updates specific to teller operations.
10%
Supports branch operations by providing exceptional service, collaborating with team members, and participating in business development initiatives to represent the credit union positively in the community.
5%
Actively promotes credit union products and services, cross-sells offerings, and refers members to appropriate departments for additional support, helping to broaden member relationships and deepen engagement.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Six months of cash handling experience in a financial or customer service setting preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Maintains a professional and positive attitude toward members and coworkers.
Technical/Other Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with office equipment, including adding machines, cash recyclers, and standard branch technology.
Ability to process high transaction volumes efficiently and accurately.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment:
Member-facing branch setting with frequent in-person interactions. Standard office environment with frequent travel for float positions. Mileage reimbursed when traveling between locations.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this role is $20.00 to $22.00. This is the salary range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may pay more than the posted range for exceptionally qualified individuals. An employee’s pay position within the pay band will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience (job and life), skills (specific and transferable), seniority, performance, and business organizational needs. This range may also be modified in the future.
This position is eligible for an $80.00 biweekly location stipend in addition to the listed wage.
