This role focuses on building scalable Power BI solutions, developing advanced data models, and enabling organizations to make informed decisions through analytics.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and visualization solutions.

The Senior Enterprise Services Engineer will be responsible for developing and administering enterprise Business Intelligence solutions, ensuring reliable reporting capabilities and meaningful data insights. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions, and maintaining high standards for performance, security, and usability.

• Develop, maintain, and administer Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and analytics applications.
• Build advanced reporting models using Analysis Services, tabular models, and multidimensional models aligned with enterprise data standards.
• Connect, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources to create efficient Business Intelligence solutions.
• Design and implement data visualizations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Develop advanced DAX queries, calculations, and data transformations to support analytical requirements.
• Implement row-level security and ensure appropriate application security configurations within Power BI environments.
• Publish, schedule, and manage Power BI reports according to business requirements and operational needs.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data models and reporting solutions.
• Integrate Power BI reports into applications using embedded analytics, APIs, and automation capabilities.
• Create technical documentation, design methodologies, and project-related materials.
• Support the development of custom Power BI visuals and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to troubleshoot issues and continuously improve BI capabilities.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, and enterprise reporting environments, with strong technical knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies and excellent communication skills.

• 8+ years of experience as a technical IT professional, with significant experience delivering enterprise-level solutions.
• 5+ years of experience supporting or implementing solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies, including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
• 3+ years of experience working with self-service analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong expertise in Power BI development, administration, and data visualization.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, MDX, and T-SQL.
• Experience designing data models, analytical solutions, and reporting architectures.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft BI Stack technologies and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with SQL Server, Azure data services, SQL data warehouse, PolyBase, and related tools.
• Ability to perform advanced calculations and analytics on complex datasets.
• Understanding of Power BI security models and implementation of data access controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience with software development practices and technical documentation.
