This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Stock Plan Administrator based in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical equity administration processes within a growing public company environment.
You will manage the complete lifecycle of employee equity programs, including grants, vesting, releases, exercises, and purchase plans.
The position combines operational excellence, compliance expertise, and cross-functional collaboration with teams across Finance, HR, Legal, Payroll, and Accounting.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate, scalable, and audit-ready equity operations while improving processes and employee experiences.
Working within a strong SOX control framework, you will support financial reporting requirements and regulatory compliance.

As a Stock Plan Administrator, you will oversee day-to-day equity administration activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience. You will partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to manage complex equity transactions, reporting requirements, and process improvements.
- Administer equity programs, including RSU and PSU grants, stock option exercises, employee stock purchase plans, vesting events, releases, and termination-related transactions.
- Manage equity activity within Equity Edge Online (EEO), including grant processing, participant communications, reporting, imports/exports, and release administration.
- Coordinate stock option exercises, including same-day sale, sell-to-cover, cash exercises, and 10b5-1 plan transactions.
- Manage RSU and PSU release processes, including tax reconciliation, payroll coordination, validation activities, approvals, and post-release reporting.
- Administer employee stock purchase plan activities, including enrollments, contribution tracking, purchase events, reconciliations, and compliance monitoring.
- Support SOX compliance activities by executing key controls, maintaining documentation, and assisting with internal and external audit requests.
- Prepare equity-related reporting and support financial processes, including stock-based compensation reporting, journal entry support, and quarter-end and year-end close activities.
- Partner with Payroll, Legal, HR, Compensation, Accounting, and Financial Reporting teams to resolve issues and improve operational workflows.
- Support insider trading compliance processes, including trading windows, preclearance activities, and Section 16-related requirements.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employee equity questions and drive improvements through automation, documentation, and process optimization.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on stock administration experience, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage sensitive equity data with accuracy and discretion.
- CEP Level 1 certification (Equity Compensation Associate/ECA) required; full CEP certification is a strong advantage.
- 3+ years of progressive stock administration experience within a public company environment, with direct experience managing RSUs, PSUs, ESPP, and stock option exercises.
- Strong knowledge of Equity Edge Online (EEO), including reporting, release processing, and data management.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and large-scale data reconciliation.
- Experience supporting SOX controls, internal audits, external audits, and compliance processes.
- Solid understanding of equity taxation, including RSU/PSU withholding, ISO and NQ exercises, and ESPP tax treatment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage recurring daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex equity topics clearly to employees and stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, Legal, HR, Compensation, and Accounting teams.
- Familiarity with transfer agent processes, Computershare, DWAC, 10b5-1 plans, Section 16 compliance, Workday, NetSuite, or ASC 718 is preferred.

- Competitive salary range based on experience, expertise, and location:
- Zone 1: $99,800 - $124,800 USD annually
- Zone 2: $89,900 - $112,300 USD annually
- Zone 3: $84,900 - $106,100 USD annually
