This role sits at the center of organizational execution, acting as a key partner to senior leadership to ensure strategy is translated into clear, disciplined operational delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the internal systems, tools, and workflows that enable teams to operate efficiently at scale. The position spans operational infrastructure, technology coordination, and financial oversight, requiring a strong ability to manage complexity across multiple domains. You will also support leadership communications, board and investor materials, and cross-functional initiatives that shape company direction. Acting as a force multiplier for the COO, you will help ensure priorities are clearly defined, tracked, and executed. This is a highly cross-functional and detail-oriented role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where operational excellence is critical to success.
- Support the COO in designing, maintaining, and improving internal operating systems, playbooks, and knowledge management frameworks that enable organizational clarity and execution.
- Oversee operational tools and platforms, ensuring teams have consistent access to structured workflows, documentation, and reliable internal resources.
- Drive execution of internal initiatives and change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and operational standards.
- Manage day-to-day technology operations including user access, software licensing, and coordination of IT infrastructure needs across the organization.
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of IT and operational support issues with strong service quality standards.
- Support financial operations including budget tracking, expense management, and coordination with accounting partners to ensure financial discipline.
- Assist with leadership coordination, board and investor materials, and executive communications to ensure alignment and timely execution of priorities.
- Coordinate key organizational events, offsites, and strategic initiatives, ensuring smooth planning and alignment with company objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Strategic Operations, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, or similar roles in high-growth environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and drive adoption of operational systems and processes.
- Experience with software implementation, change management, and organizational scaling in startup environments (Series A or Series B preferred).
- Strong proficiency with operational tools such as Notion or similar platforms for knowledge management and workflow design.
- Working knowledge of financial operations, including budgeting, expense tracking, and tools such as Ramp or equivalent systems.
- Comfortable managing IT-related operational tasks including hardware logistics, access control, and vendor coordination.
- Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support executive-level coordination and stakeholder alignment.
